Great list. I'm least enthusiastic about 11, 14, 15, 17, 18, but I don't know any of them that well.

Were Aretha Franklin and Marvin Gaye influential via albums rather than singles?

Blue is perhaps the 4th most influential Joni Mitchell album I'd choose (behind her first three in order of release).

As to others, how about Pere Ubu's first album, Joy Division's first album, Beck's Odelay, King Crimson's In the Court of the Crimson King (okay, influential of who?), and Henry Cow's first album (granted, a niche market but hugely influential there).

And of course #1 on your list should be Captain Beefheart's Trout Mask Replica.
